Blood Tests Include
Wellness Profile* - Kidney & Liver function, Cholesterol Profile, Complete Blood Count, Electrolytes and Glucose.
Cholesterol Profile* - Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides, Risk Ratio and Glucose.
C-Reactive Protein - Detects abnormally high concentrations of this specific protein which may indicate an increased risk of cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disease in apparently healthy individuals.
Homocysteine - Amino acid found in high concentrations can damage blood vessels and lead to plaque build-up and eventual blockage.
Thyroid Profile (T3, T4, T7, TSH) - Measures the production of Thyroid Hormones which regulate many body functions including basic metabolism. This series of tests is useful in measuring thyroid gland function as well as to monitor the treatment of thyroid disease.
General Health - Liver and kidney function, CBC, Electrolytes.
PSA - Used to detect possible Prostate cancer. Abnormal values may also indicate benign enlargement or inflammation of the prostate gland and must be evaluated in conjunction with a prostate examination conducted by your physician.
Hemoglobin A1C - Test used to monitor diabetes treatment. It also provides an accurate average glucose level for the 3 month period before the test.
